I am so glad she picked this song. Now all I want to know will she have her fine as% husband in the video since she made the song for him. Kudos to Monica New Life is off the chain. Its in my cd player on repeat everyday.
I really hope this does well but it doesn’t sound too radio friendly…… quiet storm stations will KILL this though. Its a beautiful song that definitely needs to be heard be the masses.
I’m looking forward to the tour MOST OF ALL and seeing her give a full set that covers all the big hits and key album tracks. I hope her and Bran can work that out.

In all honesty this song didn’t do it for me on first listen, bit now it’s my second favorite off the album behind “amazing”. Good choice!

I love this song and the whole album. I just hope she doesn’t get any back-lash for this song having the same melody as Beyonce’s 1+1. Last thing we need is for people to say that she is trying to be like old girl…lol. But any way, we know that Monica is the realist and that she killed this song. So I wish her much success.

I’m not too sure this is the MOST radio friendly song on the album. I was hoping for AMAZING. It’s got commercial appeal and really brings you back to the 90′s. This song is great, as is the album, but I don’t see too many radio outlets picking it up. Good luck, Mo!

I like the song Amazing as a nex single…I don’t konw if Monica’s PR is going for more of what they like or being straegic and knowing what people want to hear and will sell. IDK. Whatever choice she makes I am going to stick by her side because I AM A FOR REAL FAN!!!!!!
Okay-This was not one of my favorite songs, but it has definitely grown on me. As soon as I heard this was the next single, I played it on repeat and I really like it now. It gives me a Beyonce “Halo” vibe but isn’t similar enough for a comparison and the chorus isn’t as strong. At first I wasn’t sure how the song would do at radio, but Usher’s “Climax” is kind of a slow burning ballad and it’s one spot away from #1 on the R&B charts. Monica can do it, the song as potential. Maybe she should throw Usher on there or maybe Drake?
I don’t think RCA will do a video for the song unless they see it having more of an impact at radio than IABTM did. They will send the song to radio for ads, and if it picks up a lot of airplay, or Mo doesn’t have a big second week drop off and her sales stay consistent they will shoot the video then.
This album is quickly becoming one of my favorites. For those of you on the fence about it. I had to take a 2 hour drive this weekend, and I just played the album loud in my car on repeat without skipping any of the songs. That really helped me to appreciate and love it more. Try giving it a spin in your car or while you are cleaning your house. Even songs I didn’t super love like “Daddy’s Good Girl” don’t get skipped anymore, and now I love “Amazing” and “Without You.” I love you Mo!! I will keep requesting as a fan and supporting her.
Redjuice.. do me a favor and listen to Beyonce’s 1+1 and then listen to Monica’s Without you, and tell me if they don’t have the same melody? I can see why you would say Halo… but the melody in this song is definitely the same as 1+1

I never listened to 1+1 in full, mainly couldn’t never make it throught that song, due to not caring for it too much, but I see why people are saying it sounds similar but only in the beginning.
